Teachopia: A Free Experiential Learning Platform for Educators
Teachopia is an Android-based platform developed by Caring with Colour, a non-profit organization in India. The platform aims to universalize the adoption of experiential teaching methods by educators across the globe. It provides teachers with free teaching-learning material, including experiential lesson plans, project-based learning content, worksheets, and other interactive content mapped to the NCERT syllabus in India. The app covers grades 4 to 7 in Math, Science, and English.
Teachopia's experiential lesson plans are crafted through no-cost/low-cost activities using materials that are easily available in households and schools. The platform also offers training programs to educators on various themes related to experiential education. Caring with Colour is collaborating with thousands of public schools in the State of Karnataka in India to help teachers adopt experiential teaching methods through the Teachopia platform. With Teachopia, educators can easily unleash a child's 21st-century skills through experiential teaching techniques.
